When did you start teaching?

I've been a teacher since I was in my twenties, starting as a teacher of elementary education and expanding to other subjects such as science, esl, speaking, reading, comprehension and writing. I have been fortunate to have had many wonderful experiences in my teaching career, from teaching in traditional classrooms, to assemblies, to leading professional development workshops,

What makes you different?

Oh boy! Trick question. I love anything imaginative. I believe it's an endless world of possibilities out there and together we can tap into it. I'll happily engage in a two-hour conversation about mermaids "possibly" existing.

What is your biggest dream?

I've been a fan of Sesame Street since I was a baby. So, my biggest dream is to be on Sesame Street. People think its funny because I always ask, "Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?" I'm totally serious!

Hi, I’m Harriet Possum!
I love reading stories, spiders, & laying in the grass.

Sometimes I curl up with a book under a shady tree and listen to the leaves whisper in the wind. If you look closely, you might spot one of my tiny spider friends spinning a sparkly web nearby. I like to watch the clouds float by and imagine all the adventures hiding inside them.

Maybe we can read a story together today!

Hi, I’m Marshmallow Puppy!
I love eating marshmallows, being silly, snuggling with friends, & learning new things!

Sometimes I bounce around the yard looking for marshmallow treats. My tail wiggles so fast my whole body wiggles too!

Did you know marshmallows were once made from a real plant called the marshmallow plant? 🌱 Learning fun facts makes snack time even sweeter!

I love positive stories & helping

kids feel brave.

Sometimes little fears try to sneak in, but I help turn them into big, brave smiles. I remind my friends that they are strong and can do hard things!

But there’s one thing I really don’t like… waking up in the morning!

Hi, I’m Harry the Scarecrow!

I love farming, friendship, and the great outdoors. I spend my days in the fields helping my friends and making sure everyone feels welcome on the farm.

I like reminding my friends that when we work together and are kind to each other, great things can grow, just like the crops in the field!
